Terms of Use

These terms are between you and Hive Creative LLC ("we") for the Chào Bà app. By using the app you agree to them.

Apple's standard license

Chào Bà is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These terms add to it. If they conflict, the Standard EULA wins. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no duty to provide support for it.

Subscriptions

• The first 2 lessons are free. Chào Bà Pro costs $7.99 per month or $49.99 per year (US prices; may vary by country).
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the same price unless we tell you otherwise.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) after purchase.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.

Learning content

We work hard to make the lessons accurate, and a native speaker reviews them. Audio is AI-generated and speaking feedback is automatic, so mistakes can happen. Chào Bà is a learning aid, not professional translation or a substitute for a teacher.

Fair use

Please use Chào Bà for personal learning. Don't copy or resell the content, try to break the app or its servers, or use speaking practice to send anything harmful. To keep the service available to everyone, speaking practice has daily limits.

Our content

The lessons, audio, artwork and app are owned by Hive Creative LLC or its licensors.

Disclaimers and limits

The app is provided "as is." To the fullest extent the law allows, Hive Creative LLC isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
